About Rupeeflo
Rupeeflo is an NRI-focused financial services company solving a problem that sits at the intersection of two massive, underserved opportunities: a global NRI/OCI diaspora sitting on record wealth, and an Indian financial system that still makes it painfully hard for them to invest back home. We've built the infrastructure that banks and brokerages plug into for global investor onboarding across 50+ countries, dramatically cutting onboarding timelines from over a month to just hours. Backed by Rainmatter (Zerodha) and Piper Serica, we're live with leading institutional partners and already reach markets covering ~60% of the world's NRI population.
About the role
This is a full-ownership PM role. You'll own a product area end-to-end: from understanding users and shaping the experience, to defining what gets built, ensuring it ships well, and iterating until the metrics move.
You'll work closely with designers and engineers, and you'll be expected to hold the full picture across UX, operations, and support, not just the feature list. At a company the size of Rupeeflo, a PM who stays in the ticket queue won't thrive. Someone who takes the product personally will.
What you’ll do
Own a product area end-to-end: define priorities, write clear specs, and drive execution alongside design and engineering.
Craft user journeys and work closely with designers to shape UX that is intuitive, clear, and built around real user needs.
Identify opportunities to improve product metrics across the funnel: activation, engagement, conversion, and retention.
Define operational requirements for new features: the processes, workflows, and tooling needed to support them at scale.
Work with customer support to understand user pain points, surface recurring issues, and close the feedback loop into the product.
Run structured discovery through user interviews, funnel analysis, and data review to identify what to build and why.
Collaborate daily with engineering to scope features, resolve ambiguity, unblock execution, and maintain velocity.
Take features from idea to launch and keep iterating until they deliver the intended outcome.
Must-have skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, Business, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in product management with demonstrated ownership of a product or product area.
Strong UX instinct: ability to review designs, write user flows, and identify experience issues before they ship.
Comfort working with data to understand product performance, identify drop-offs, and prioritise improvements.
Clear, structured written communication: specs and PRDs that engineering and design can actually act on.
Ability to manage operational and support requirements alongside feature delivery, not as an afterthought.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across designers, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders.
Good to have
Experience at a fintech startup or financial services product company.
Exposure to regulated product environments: KYC, onboarding, payments, or compliance flows.
Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or equivalent.
Basic SQL or data querying ability for independent analysis.
Why Rupeeflo?
Own a product area that matters to real users, at a company small enough for your decisions to be visible and fast enough for them to compound.
Work directly with a founding team that takes product seriously, with short feedback loops and no committee approvals.
A product problem that is genuinely hard: NRI financial services sits at the intersection of cross-border UX, regulatory constraints, and trust, with no established playbook.
